YARD to lead active CNU Legacy Charrette

The Congress for New Urbanism has selected YARD & Company to work with the Tulsa Global District to unlock its growth potential through one of two of the Congress’s annual Legacy Charrettes. The program for this effort includes three components: activation of a newly created Nam Hai Square; facilitating a Global District Board of Directors retreat to chart a course for its internal operating system; and to learn from these two experiences to create a 12-month road map for the District.

“I think it will be important to show small progress while also working on larger infrastructure projects. If we're getting people excited about small improvements, it will improve our opportunities to advocate for larger scale investments like better sidewalks and lighting. Also, small projects will help us show property owners the benefits of investing in their properties.”

~Luisa Krug, Executive Director, Tulsa Global District

The Nam Hai Square will be built 3-4 March and go live on Saturday, March 5.
