Join YARD to help Pittsburgh neighborhood demonstrate a safer street
The Mount Washington Community Development Corporation (MWCDC) is working with the team at YARD & Company and Pashek MTR to run a two-week demonstration project that tests a redesigned street intersection at a critical location in the neighborhood’s business district. The demonstration, being installed October 16-17, will include realigned travel patterns to reduce speed, new bump outs with seating areas, signage and more visible crosswalks.
Volunteers are invited to come (RSVP by emailing the CDC below) on Sunday, October 17th to help paint and enjoy the after party at Coughlin’s Law Kitchen and Ale House.
