YARD to craft riverfront district development plan

Western Pennsylvania’s Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County (EPACC) has engaged the master planning and development strategy services of YARD & Company to create a targeted first phase development plan for historic Meadville’s French Creek Corridor.

Over the past couple years, EPACC has strategically been building the case, the program and the community consensus for French Creek’s development as a key component to downtown Meadville’s resurgence. This new downtown district will further the community’s objectives in attracting and retaining a quality workforce and residents both old and new, building on active anchors such as Meadville Medical Center, Allegheny College and Voodoo Brewing, among many others. Meadville’s corporate, family and institutional citizenry have come together to chart a bold course for the corridor and now is the time to make the first physical investments in it. 

The work kicks off in January of 2020.
